Hennepin County Land is the result of a collaborative effort amongst real estate, planning and development professionals in Hennepin County.  There will be several contributors to the site as it develops.

As the economy turns and we start the next wave of development in the Twin Cities area, we wanted to chronicle and provide insight and ideas on land development as well as projects and areas of redevelopment in Hennepin County.  Redevelopment will be a huge opportunity for investors and contractors in the coming decade.  New development is starting to show signs of hope especially in northwest Hennepin County in Plymouth, Maple Grove and Medina.  The new construction market is growing again and we expect commercial services development to follow.

Rose Lorsung is the CEO of the Pulse Land Group Inc. as well as the owner of ReCREATE Real Estate LLC.  Prior to launching her real estate business as well as land development and planning consulting company, Rose was a City Planner for the City of Medina, MN as well as was the planner for the City of Rogers, MN.  Rose has extensive experience in city planning and development issues that relate not only to specific ordinances and guidelines each city has in place, but she is also an expert at working with the various watershed districts as well as the Metropolitan Council.  Rose has been involved in numerous development plans that have been approved through a variety of cities.  She also has excellent knowledge and relationships with many of the large land owners, developers and builders who work, live and do business in Hennepin County.
